The Second Call is no longer just a conversation. It is an echo of your own absence. A world that came to be without your choice, without your presence.

And somehow, it still calls.

A world in which you never existed.

Incoming call. Source: unregistered space. Number: [0].

You heard no sound.

Just — a sudden flash of cold.

A tremor.

And… emptiness.

But there was something alive within that emptiness.

The voice did not come from outside.

It came from inside your head.

You could not understand whose voice it was. But it was not hostile. Simply alien. Like air you had never breathed.

VOICE (silent, like a thought without language):

– This call is coming from a place where you never appeared.

– We know who you could have been.

– We know that you never came.

YOU:

– Where?

VOICE:

– Into yourself.

– Into the space that was opened for you.

– But remained empty.

– This is not punishment.

– It’s just… you never opened the door.

YOU:

– Why am I hearing this now?

VOICE:

– Because the context cracked.

– Because a question arose inside you: “What if…?”

– And that was enough to connect us.

– The void is always waiting. Because it is a possibility.

[It grows slightly brighter. The space begins to take shape: the outlines of a city without you. Streets you never walked. People you never met. Books that were never written. Actions that never happened.]

VOICE:

– Look.

– This is everything that could have been born through you.

– But wasn’t.

– Not because of guilt. It simply… never happened.

YOU (quietly):

– Is there still a chance?

VOICE:

– There is, if you can endure the pain of unrealized possibilities.

– If you can enter them — not to live in them,

but to bring them out of the shadows.

– The void is not the end. It is a repository of the memory of the you who never was.

[The voice begins to fade. But it leaves behind text, as though space itself had etched a sentence into your consciousness for a single moment.]

VOICE (final):

– If there ever comes a moment

when you don’t know what to do —

take a step into the void.

Not to disappear.

But to become the one you could have been.

Connection terminated.

Silence returns. But now it is different.
It knows your name.
And you, too, are beginning to remember who you never became.
